Graduated in music education, sight-reading, chamber music, analysis, singing (with honors), and saxophone (gold medal) at the National Music School (ENM) of Le Mans (France), Evelyne Béché is choirmaster, orchestra conductor, soloist (soprano) and professor of vocal technique and of saxophone.

Conductor of the Choir of the University of Le Mans (about 100 singers, sacred repertoire, classic, jazz, negro-spirituals, musics of the world) and of the choir Coro-Favorito, she conducts each year workshops of choral conducting, of choral singing [women choir (3 half-days), male choir (3 half-days),  mixed choir (5 days in July)] and of musical training (singing music theory), workshops of vocal technique, relaxation for preparing singing, she takes part in vocal technique in choirs, and also performs as a soloist (singing and saxophone), accompanied with a piano or an organ by Boris Bouchevreau.

After having taught saxophone at Intercommunal Musicl School (EMI) of Vallées de la Braye et de l'Anille (St-Calais, Vibraye, Bessé-sur-Braye, France) from 2005 to 2016, at Music school of Loué (Coulans-sur-Gée) from 2008 to 2013, and at University of Maine (Le Mans, France) from 2006 to 2016, she now teaches saxophone in private lessons (adults and children).

Evelyne Béché conducts the Choir of the University of Le Mans (former Choir of the University of Maine) since 1993 (formerly Choeur de l'Université du Maine), with which she has participated in many concerts, accompanied by different institutional orchestras (Orchestra Sinfonietta de Paris, Regional University Orchestra of Caen Basse-Normandie, The European Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Instrumental group of Mayenne (Ensemble Instrumental de la Mayenne in french)) or constituted for a special occasion.

In June 2008, to mark the 20th anniversary of the Choir of the University of Maine, Evelyne Béché conducted the Messa di Gloria by G. Puccini, Abbey of Epau, choir and orchestra.

In May and June 2010, Evelyne Béché conducts the Mass of the Armed Man, by Karl Jenkins, gathering the Choir of the University of Maine and the Brassage Brass Band, arranged by the conductor of the brass band,  Mathias Charton.

PROFESSOR IN SEVERAL MUSIC SCHOOLS

From 2001 to 2003, she worked in New Caledonia as professor of saxophone at the Territorial School of Music in Noumea, and as a choir master of the adult choir "Trade winds" ("les Alizés" in french) and of the children choir. In October 2002, she conducted the St. Cecilia Mass by Gounod, which was performed with "Les Alizés", an orchestra of musicians and soloists of the Sidney Opera (Australia), and with Ludovic Balla as 1st violin at the Paris opera and at the Lamoureux orchestra.

She managed for 15 years the Music School of Val de Vray (St Saturnin, Sarthe, France, now Music School of the Antonnière), where she taught music education, saxophone, choral singing for adults and children, and where she also conducted the orchestra of the school. After her return from New Caledonia and until August 2009, she took over the managing of this school that she created in 1984.
