from the meeting between Evelyne Béché,
choirmaster of the Choeur
de l'Université du Maine
and Mathias Charton, conductor
of the Brassage
Brass Band brass
band, the respective groups of
which working independently the Mass of the Armed Man by Karl
Jenkins, the concert will bring together 90 singers of Sarthe

To mark the bicentenary
of the birth
of German composer Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847), alternating lieder
composer's motets (regarded as a prodigy like Mozart), the
three choirs have joined their voices in two double choirs (eight
voices), a Kyrie and Sanctus (Heilig), particularly appreciated by the
audience.
